Prepare for your visit
What to bring to your tax appointment.
- Government-issued photo ID for you (and your spouse, if filing together)
- Social Security cards or ITIN letters for everyone listed on the return
- Income documents: W-2s, 1099s, Social Security or unemployment statements
- Last year’s tax return
- Bank account and routing number for direct deposit of your refund
- Records of deductions and credits: childcare, education, donations, medical expenses
- Self-employed or business owners: your income and expense records
- ITIN services: passport and supporting identity documents
A note on keeping your information safe.
Please never send sensitive tax documents — photo IDs, Social Security numbers, W-2s, or ITIN letters — through WhatsApp or email. Bring originals with you to your appointment, or call Mery at(832) 303-2325and she’ll help you arrange a secure way to share them.
